Mighty Ships – The Coastal Midwest

"Obviously, the title of the album is ironic," Bachman says. "For me personally, The Coastal Midwest represents a place where I feel like I don't have a piece of solid ground to stand on." He goes on to say, "I hope this album connects with everyone else who has felt like they're nowhere."

The album really came together when the band started working with Matt Jordan — former guitarist of Into it. Over It. — who made the album flourish in a lot of spots.

Overall, the band feels like the album has a lot of potential. "We feel like this album can take us to the next level," Tyler says, "but if it can have an impact on the Normal [Illinois] DIY scene like our last album, we'll be more than happy."
