Year Twins – ‘Perfect Forever, Forever Perfect’

From bombing down a hill and breaking your pelvis to general growing pains, the Year Twins’ debut album covers all aspects of everyday life and the process of coming to age. “Most of the tracks on the album really reflect the struggles I was experiencing shortly after moving to Columbus,” said Ian Meyer (vox/guitarist). “Despite the high energy, the album ended up pretty melancholy with a splash of hope.”

Perfect Forever, Forever Perfect invokes feelings of nostalgia & longing, regret & loss, and the redemption of happiness & purpose. The poppy melodies and heartfelt lyrics of Year Twins’ debut album truly depict the I-can’t-wait-to-get-out-of-my-hometown attitude every Midwestern, young adult has felt atleast once in their life.
