Old News’ latest single “Pulling Teeth” is a pummeling ode to all of those who have done you wrong.

Mastered by John Naclerio – the engineer behind Microwave’s Much Love, Real Friends’ Put Yourself Back Together, and a smattering of My Chemical Romance records – helped bring out the straight-forward “f*** you” energy that causes a chorus of “oofs” and exhales from the crowd every time it has been played live.

“We wanted to capture the explosive, off-the-wall energy from our shows, so we opted to track “Pulling Teeth” live in the studio,” Beau said. “It put us in a great headspace for the rest of the session.” At the end of it all, the song is-what-it-is and unapologetically delivers a big “f*** you” to anyone who tried to step all over you.

“Pulling Teeth” is the second single from the band’s upcoming album Self-Acceptance Speech – out on October 15. Check out their first single – “Heads Like Projectors” – here!
