Saying Goodbye to the House Venue Life

If you've ever been to a show in Charleston, you've more than likely stumbled into "The Embassy". This well-known, DIY palace has been a tour stop for the likes of Pine Grove, Dying Wish, and a ton of other major bands before they struck it big.

What's forgotten by many is that actual people call this venue home – including Marty from B. Fraser. The band's latest track – "Front Porch" – is Marty's final farewell to "The Embassy" and frustrations of cleaning up after every show.

"At first, we had a blast and got to see some of our favorite bands," said Marty. "But after a while, you find people aren't respectful of your home and you wish you had a space to yourself."
