Kidlat Releases "Phone Call" Video; Will Have You Longing for Human Interaction

Kidlat's new video for "Phone Call" will make you miss the life you used to have.

A montage of cell phone videos taken over the last several years perfectly embody the joy of seeing your friends, acting goofy, and even just lying in the grass. "Phone Call" describes the urge to pick up the phone and call your ex.

The happiness and ease of talking to someone you're familiar feels fantastic, but is very much fleeting. Eventually, they go back to treating you like trash and you go back into a depressive mental state.

Kidlat first full-length – Gettin' Pretty – was released in December of 2018 and was hailed as to having an "'extroverted introvert' vibe with a buoyant mix of eager drums and bouncy guitars to go along with aloof vocals" [Ovrld].
